The small snare drum makes it ideal for use as a piccolo snare providing high pitch yet crispy clear sound. By applying a thicker head and tuning down a fat snare sound can be achieved. The Kenny Aronoff Signature 15’’ x 4’’ snare drum comes complete with a Brass Mighty Hoop. This allows increased amounts of attack with an aggressive yet warm tone to cut through any mix. This signature snare is crafted from brass providing warm and open high, mid and low tones. The brass composition nicely compliments every aspect of this metal drum.
