Royer Labs R-122 Used Matched Pair Ribbon Microphone w/Shocks (Luigi)

Buy used R-122 ribbon microphones matched pair in excellent condition

The R-122 is the world's first phantom-powered active ribbon microphone, combining the classic warmth and natural sound of Royer's R-121 with modern performance enhancements. It features a +14dB output boost and impedance-matching circuitry, ensuring compatibility with virtually any microphone preamp. At the heart of the R-122 is Royer's patented offset ribbon transducer which places the ribbon element closer to the front of the microphone. This innovative design-standard across all Royer R-series models-allows greater ribbon movement within the microphone's optimal magnetic field, preserving full frequency response even at high SPL levels.
