The SSL 2 MKII is built to handle any session. The dual combo inputs accept both XLR and 1/4" connectors, making them perfect for microphones, line-level gear, or high-impedance instruments like guitars and basses.

Monitoring is effortless thanks to dedicated 1/4" monitor outputs and a separate 1/4" headphone output with independent level control. The intuitive front panel puts you in command, featuring a large, prominent monitor level knob alongside smaller, tactile controls for headphone volume and monitor mix.

Zero-Latency Monitoring

Say goodbye to distracting delay. The dedicated Monitor Mix knob allows you to blend seamlessly between your input source and your DAW's playback. Turn it fully counterclockwise to monitor your direct input signal with zero latency, or rotate it right to introduce the playback from your computer-perfect for tracking sessions.

Precision Metering and Input Features

Each of the two input channels is equipped with a clear 5-segment LED meter and a smooth gain knob, allowing for precise level setting. Additional switches provide control over 48V phantom power, line-level input, and Hi-Z instrument mode, ensuring your signal path is optimized for whatever source you plug in.

The Legacy 4K Button: Instant Analog Character

Underneath each gain knob lies the secret weapon of the SSL 2 MKII: the Legacy 4K button. Inspired by the legendary SSL 4000 series consoles, this analog enhancement circuit injects life into flat or dull-sounding sources. Engage the 4K button while recording to add a touch of high-frequency sheen and subtle, musical harmonic distortion. Because it is an analog process, it adds warmth and presence to your signal before it hits your DAW, giving your tracks a professional sheen right from the start.
