USED EMI TG12413 Zener Limiter In Excellent Condition. Minor scratch in front (see pictures)
The Chandler EMI TG12413 Zener Limiter is the definitive TG limiter, released in honor of Abbey Road Studios' 75th anniversary. Designed by Wade Goeke of Chandler Limited, this unit draws inspiration from classic EMI circuits famously used in recordings by The Beatles and Pink Floyd. It continues the lineage of EMI limiters that began with the RS114 tube limiter in 1954, followed by the RS168 Zener Limiter in 1968. Zener-based designs were also integral to the TG12345 console in 1969 and the TG12413 module introduced in 1974.
This latest reissue combines elements from both the RS168 and the TG12345 console strip, creating a versatile and fully featured limiter designed for modern studio use. Enhancing the vintage TG sound, Goeke has added a host of new controls, including switchable input impedance for either soft or hard signal driving, an 11-position attack, 21-position release, sidechain filtering, and three modes of operation: Comp 1, Comp 2, and Limit.
