Composing/Notation Tools

Tablature and Sheet Music

Guitar Pro provides three different notation styles (standard/tablature/slash) for reading, as well as a zoom feature and a virtual fretboard/keyboard to visualize the exact positioning of your fingers.

Lyrics

Enter any lyrics and arrange them on top of a vocal track. You can also add annotations to point riffs or solos that might necessitate extra explanation for the instrumentalist taking the lead at that particular moment in time.

Layout Tools

Based on the classic or jazz templates, you can set 70 different parameters, configure the layout of your scores exactly as you wish, and achieve professional-looking printouts. You can also edit or buy full-score files on which you may solo or mute any instrument, allowing you to fill the gap.

Digital Tuner

The digital tuner allows you to tune your guitar by plugging it into your sound card or utilizing a compatible microphone. The digital tuner works for any possible tuning, and should you want to utilize a predetermined one, you can select your configuration among 33 tunings for 4- to 8-string instruments. Furthermore, you can create and save your own custom tunings.
